It was 2006 when an 18-year-old girl began shooting porn under the name Sasha Grey, which was normal enough. But this girl was not just another girl. From her very first scenes, she showed a taste for extreme and exceptionally violent sex. If we watch her early videos with today’s eyes, they don’t seem particularly strong compared to today’s porn, but back then, they had quite an impact.
Naughty, willing, with a nice ass and pretty. Above all, the girl had extraordinary skills for deepthroating and anal sex. It was all said and done, the producers at the time must have seen it very clearly, this girl was going to be one of the greats. And so it was, in less than a year she began to receive AVN awards (considered the “Oscars” of porn cinema) for best threesome sex scene and best group scene.
On April 8, 2011, she announced her retirement from adult films on her Facebook profile. Her career in adult films lasted three years, during which she was always very professional. Her dedication to each shoot left no doubt that she was doing what she truly loved.
After leaving porn, Sasha Grey devoted herself to other artistic fields:
- Music: She has collaborated on musical projects and appeared in videos by artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins, The Roots, and Eminem. She also had an industrial music project called ATelecine.
- Actress: She had roles in independent films and short films, and even starred in director Steven Soderbergh’s “The Girlfriend Experience.” She also appeared as herself in the HBO series “Entourage” and in the Spanish film “Open Windows.”
- Video games: She voiced a character in the video game “Saints Row: The Third.”
- Activism: She posed nude for a PETA campaign on animal birth control.
