Joanna Jet

Joanna Jet (London, December 18, 1961) is a British transgender pornographic actress, model, and director. She has been a member of the AVN Hall of Fame since 2015.

Joanna Jet was born and raised in London (United Kingdom). Her first foray into the adult film industry was in 2000, when she starred in the films Transsexual Beauty Queens 15 and Shemales at the Hard Rock Cafe, produced by Androgeny Productions. The following year, she began a transition process to feminize her features, while also starring in more transgender films for Androgeny, Evil Angel, Devil’s Film, and Anabolic.

Jet developed a production company called Altered States Productions, based in California. However, various problems with her immigration visa led her to move the entire company back to the United Kingdom, where she settled and developed a series of videos for Playboy TV, including Tranny and Susanna, the first softcore porn film broadcast on cable television, which was nominated for an AVN award in 2009. Once her immigration problems were resolved, Joanna Jet returned to the United States in 2011, where she continues to work as a director.

Joanna Jet has shot more than 180 films as an actress and directed more than 80 as a director. She was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2015.
