Carmen Moore

Carmen Kym Moore, also known as Kymberly Yazzie, (Navajo Nation, Arizona, United States, February 21, 1986–August 27, 2018) was a Native American actress from the Navajo Nation. Carmen Moore was born and raised on the Navajo reservation in northwestern Arizona and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada as an adult.

She began her acting career in the pornographic industry in 2008, starring in 34 original productions, and in 2014 she made her feature film debut in Sydney Freeland’s Drunktown’s Finest. For her performance, she was nominated for Best Actress at the American Indian Film Festival.

Carmen Moore was born and raised on the Navajo reservation in northwestern Arizona before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, as an adult. She was a transgender woman who also identified as Nádleehi and Two-spirit. In 2014, she was nominated for the industry’s most prestigious award, the AVN Award for Transsexual Performer of the Year. She was a true professional, giving everything she had in each of her shoots. According to IAFD, she appeared in 89 films throughout her career. Moore passed away in August 2018.
