Gia Darling

Gia Darling (Valencia, California; July 30, 1977) is an American transgender pornographic actress, director, producer, and media personality. Of Guatemalan origin, she was adopted at the age of two by a single mother. At the age of three, she moved with her adoptive mother to California. At age 15, she began dressing and living as a woman and dreamed of becoming a television presenter, participating in a travel or music video program.

Gia Darling has appeared as an actress in more than 40 films and has directed more than twenty. She specializes in BDSM productions, in which she herself plays dominatrix roles. Gia Darling was the first transgender person to appear in the pages of the American editions of Playboy and Hustler magazines.

Her success led her to become an entrepreneur, founding Gia Darling Entertainment, a brand dedicated to film production, commerce, and everything related to transgender porn. In terms of the press, she was the first transgender woman to appear in Penthouse and Hustler. She won the AVN Award for Transgender Performer of the Year in 2006.
